Disclaimer

Adventure activities naturally come with an element of risk. By choosing to participate in any activities with Scottish Walking Guides, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Common risks include, but are not limited to slips, trips, falls, fatigue, and overheating. Your safety is our priority, so we encourage you to be prepared and aware during your adventures.

Our staff are qualified to a high standard set by the appropriate national governing bodies. We require that all guides are fully insured and are first aid certified, to aid in delivering a safe experience for all participants. We recommend that participants secure their own insurance for added peace of mind during their activities. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities.

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds.

Payments should be made in full minimum 4 weeks before the event or we maintain the right to offer your place to someone else. If Scottish Walking Guides cancels my activity I will recieve a new date or a full refund. If the participant cancels minimum 4 weeks prior to the activity they will recieve a full refund. If they cancel less than 4 weeks before the activity date they will recieve no refund.

All Cancellations must be made via email.

Scottish Walking Guides recommends that all participants have suitable insurance to cover themselves for any losses occurring due to cancellations.

Personal Kit

You will recieve a kit list prior to your event, you are expected to bring all of your own kit, if it does not meet the requirements of the day the guide maintains the right to refuse to take you up the hill and you will recieve no refund for your activity. If you are unsure please contact us.

Medical declarations

On the booking form you will be asked to declare any medical information that is relevant, failure to declare medical information or bring the correct medication to the event may lead to non participation on the day of the activity and will receive no refund.
